Frankincense Essential Oil

Frankincense Essential Oil smells fresh, woody, balsamic, fruity and slightly spicy.

Frankincense is a tree resin which has been used and valued for medicinal, cosmetic, aromatic, and spiritual applications since ancient times. The natural oil of Frankincense is distilled out of the resin.

The essential oil tends to smell sweeter, cleaner and fresher than the resin, and when burned as an incense, more people prefer the aroma of Frankincense Essential Oil to that of the resin.

Frankincense Essential Oil is most commonly used in spiritual, perfumery and inciens / room fragrance applications, but it is useful as an expectorant and is sometimes used in the formulations for respiratory and cough.
