Lemongrass Essential Oil smells fresh, lemonic and slightly herbaceous.
Lemongrass Essential Oil is for you if you are trying to work with an essential oil that has an exceptionally strong lemon fragrance.

To give you an emotional boost, it is a beautiful essential oil and it is wonderful to include in blends for use when you are emotionally or physically lethargic or when you need help focusing.

Although it is cold pressed, Lemon Essential Oil is phototoxic. Lemongrass The oil distilled by steam, is not photototoxic.

Lemongrass Essential Oil is nevertheless abundant in citral (geranial and neral). When used in topical applications over 0.7 %, it can pose a significant risk of skin sensitization.
